It is now the twenty-first instead of the twentieth, but I will imitate Stoutfellow by linking to Leslie Fish’s Hope Eyrie, as sung by Julia Ecklar. It’s beautiful, and I hope that “Time won’t drive us down to dust again.” Alas, the human race has not lost its capacity for sin and folly, so it is still an open question.

I wonder whether Buzz Aldrin is familiar with the song.
