COVID-19 Booster

About eight and a half hours ago, I got my COVID-19 booster shot (Moderna). My shoulder is mildly sore, but I feel well otherwise. Right after the jab, I said, “Take that, omicron variant!” to the apparent amusement of the pharmacy technician (or whatever her exact job title is).

I was reading just today that Pfizer shows marked decrease in booster effectiveness vs Omicron after just TEN DAYS!

Makes me really happy that my wife and I are tripled on Moderna!

Moderna may be best; it was the luck of the draw, I suppose, that I got it the first time. I have now had three Moderna vaccinations.
