Blood Donation and Dinner

I went to a Bloodmobile parked outside the Patent Office this morning, and donated a pint. I feel fine.

I made black bean chili with guacamole for dinner tonight, which was okay, and also baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies, which turned out pretty well; I think I’m getting better at that recipe. For one thing, it may be best to add an extra tablespoon or so of water to get a proper dough, instead of crumbs loosely stuck together.

Kudos to you for donating! I'm planning on it next week. I always joke that what you eat after donating has no calories, because you've just lost a pound.
