Miso Chocolate Chip Cookies

I made the miso chocolate chip cookies yesterday, and they turned out pretty well; I enjoyed two hot cookies for dessert last night (I baked a batch in the afternoon, and since the baking sheet I used wasn’t big enough for them all, baked more later). Either the recipe or my implementation of it wasn’t perfect, because the chocolate chips didn’t all stay within the dough, but sometimes ended up on their own outside it. Still, the results were delicious, if not esthetically unflawed.

Another Dishonest Survey

I received a “survey” and appeal for funds from the Republican Party in the mail today. I have written a note on it as follows:

“Dear Mrs. McDaniel,

“Some of your survey questions cannot well be answered yes or no, and some are simply dishonest, being based on false premises. If you want support from me or from other patriotic, pro-Constitution ex-Republicans, you will have to write and behave very differently.

“Nicholas Rosen”
