ndrosenIt’s been raining heavily this afternoon; it also rained Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
As I was returning home Thursday evening, I met a golden retriever of my acquaintance with his two humans. He jumped and nuzzled me, and I managed to get in some petting, while his humans chatted with me and tried to improve the dog’s manners, reminding him not to jump.
Yesterday, I joined some work friends for happy hour, meeting several new hires in the Art Unit or a closely related Art Unit. I drank a glass of Amontillado, while most people were having beer or (non-sherry) wine, with at least one examiner drinking a cocktail.
