This morning, I went to the dentist to have my temporary crowns removed, and permanent crowns cemented to two molars on my upper left jaw. The hygienist (or whatever her official title is) couldn’t pull the temporary crowns off, and then neither could the dentist, so he ended up anesthetizing that region of my mouth, and drilling to break the temporary crowns and make them removable. Then he put on the permanent crowns.
I’m a little sensitive to cold drinks back there, but basically, all seems well. It’s good to live in a time when such advanced dental care is possible.
