Abducted Teenage Epileptic
Jun. 1st, 2018 01:06 amMost decent and competent parents do not urge their teenage offspring to smoke marijuana, but there can be exceptions. David Brill has severe epilepsy, for which cannabidiol proved to be an effective treatment. Theoretically, it would be legal in Georgia to treat his epilepsy with low THC cannabidiol oil, THC being the component of marijuana principally responsible for getting people high, except that there is no legal way to obtain that, so David Brill smoked marijuana to avoid life-threatening seizures.
The authorities kidnapped the boy from his parents, and his seizures resumed, so there is now a Go Fund Me page to help the Brill family with their legal expenses. I have chipped in, and I hope that others will as well.
Inspector Javert is alive and well, and living in the state of Georgia.
