Another Appeal, A Suspicious Envelope
Aug. 31st, 2024 12:51 amOn Friday, I received an appeal for funds to help elect the sociopathic toddler, which came with a postage-paid return envelope. I did my little bit to help preserve constitutional government by stuffing some papers, emphatically not including a check, in the envelope, and putting it in the box for outgoing mail. Moistening the flap of the envelope wasn’t very successful, although there did seem to be an attempt at mucilage there, so I put several pieces of tape on the envelope.
Can’t the Trump campaign even get envelopes for donations right? I suspect that campaign funds were used to procure envelopes from a firm owned by Trump himself, or some crony of his, and between sheer incompetence and the desire to squeeze out a few more dollars in profit by skimping on adhesive, the envelopes delivered were substandard. This might result in a few checks falling out in the mail, and getting lost, but that would be somebody else’s worry.
