Junk Emails

Despite attempting to unsubscribe, I keep getting junk emails from allegedly different groups with closely overlapping blather, whether the emails are titled “Fight 4 Liberty,” or “AMAC Action” (the initialism stands for Association of Mature American Citizens), or “DC Statesman,” or perhaps something else. No matter how you slice it, it’s still Trumbaloney.

I get more junk emails than real ones. Not much political (haven't gotten on those mailing lists), but endless predatory journals and bogus conferences.

Sometimes unsubscribe just confirms that they've hit a live email address, and they then pass that on to other fraudsters. I'd suggest simply blocking them as they pop up, forget the unsubscribes.
