Another Letter from Ron Johnson

The other day, I got another letter from Senator Ron Johnson, appealing for donations. I must admit that it was something of an improvement, since he didn’t denounce Big Tech and spew MAGAist manure; instead, he criticized the Democrats’ fiscal irresponsibility, and said that he, the Senate’s only accountant, would pursue more frugal policies. It wasn’t a bad letter, and I might perhaps have sent him a campaign contribution if only (a) I had no recollection of his previous letters, (b) I didn’t know that the Republican Party is not, in fact, fiscally responsible, and (c) I didn’t know that Ron Johnson is a member of the Insurrection Caucus. As things are, though, the letter went into my bag of paper to be recycled.
