ndrosenI’m planning to vote for Terry McAuliffe, the Democratic candidate for Governor of Virginia. Despite my disagreements with his policies, at least he isn’t a Trumpublican. Glenn Youngkin, the Republican, may not be a hardcore Trumpist, but he and his candidate for Lieutenant Governor have not denounced Trump or tried to wean Virginia’s deplorables away from belief in the demagogue.
I get regular emails from the Daily Kos, at least one of which urged people to support McAuliffe on the ground that a Democratic win in Virginia would help get President Biden’s Build Back Better program passed; if true, that would be one reason to vote for Youngkin, or perhaps for Mickey Mouse.
