Sock-Eating Machines
Sep. 22nd, 2021 02:51 amWhen I was folding my laundry Sunday night, I found one sock missing, leaving a single dark blue sock without a partner. Monday morning, I retraced my steps, did not find a sock in the stairwell, did not find it in the dryer I had used, or in the washer.
I think the laundry machines eat socks now and then, or perhaps missing socks are transported through some kind of interdimensional gate.
