ndrosenTechnology Center 3600 had its summer picnic today in Fort Hunt Park. Last night, I mixed and baked some spice cake to enter in the dessert contest; it didn't win, place, or show, but someone told me that it did get a number of votes, and most of it disappeared, so it seems to have been appreciated.
Otherwise, I got to soak up some vitamin D, chat with friends, see some people I usually wouldn't see (because they work from home, or they're in the mechanical, rather than the business methods, area of the Tech Center, or because they're spouses and children of examiners), and engage in a bit of mild and non-strenuous outdoor athletics.
