ndrosenEdward Dodson has a pretty good video up on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmA6ZPs-wus, with some history and some analysis of our current problems. I am not in one hundred percent agreement even with my esteemed fellow Georgist, but I do recommend taking a look.
In particular, there’s a warning that we can expect a major crash around 2026, eighteen years after the bursting of the last real estate bubble, and the ensuing Great Recession. I do not absolutely guarantee that date, but if the pattern holds, and nothing extraordinary occurs to disrupt it, then another economic crisis around that time is likely; this comes from Dr. Fred Foldvary, who went on record predicting the 2007-2008 downturn back in 1997.
