Economic Warning

Monday evening, I participated in a meeting of the executive committee of the Board of the Henry George Institute, discussing, among other things, how to invest the Institute’s money, of which there isn’t very much. As fellow Georgists, we have some varying opinions, but we agreed that there is likely to be trouble coming, due to inflation, and due to a spiral if interest rates rise, interest payments on the national debt rise, which necessitates more borrowing, and so forth.

I cannot provide dates or details, but I do advise people reading this to prepare for trouble ahead as best they can.
