November Notes
Nov. 6th, 2025 10:43 pmTaking the train to work yesterday and today, I appreciated some colorful leaves on the trees. Virginia may not be equal to Massachusetts or the Pennsylvania hills for fall foliage, but there is still something to look at.
Wednesday evening, I made a seasonally appropriate pumpkin pie, and I hope soon to eat a slice of it. I ate a late lunch, and spent a long afternoon at the Patent Office, but I’m finally home, and I’ve rinsed some lettuce and arugula. I plan to make a bowl of salad, reheat the remaining black bean chili, and eat it with guacamole, and then, after salad, have pie for dessert.
