Do You Stand With ICE?

I get quite a few junk emails, from the right and (mostly) the left, so when I saw one asking, “Do you stand with ICE?”, I thought that some progressive group was taking the line, “Of course you don’t, so make a donation to us/sign our petition/come to the No Kings demonstration.”

But it turned out to be from the Heritage Foundation.

We have immigration laws, and people can honorably work at enforcing them, but the email from Heritage Fascism made no mention of ICE goons arresting American citizens, and keeping them locked up in bad conditions after they should have been released, or wantonly assaulting elderly people engaged in peaceful demonstrations, or grabbing everyone in an apartment building without a search warrant, zip-tying children, and then not returning them to their families, or other such deeds.
