Opening up

ndrosenThings seem to be opening up somewhat (whether that is a good idea remains to be seen). A local tavern has been open only for takeout or delivery, but today I saw a gaggle of young women eating at an outdoor table there, with a masked waitress bringing them their orders. (I don’t think they’re serving people at the tables inside, although I’m not certain.)
After getting my groceries I stopped by the barbershop/beauty salon to see whether I could get my hair cut (they had been closed, and then I recently saw a sign saying “Open by appointment only”). I could indeed make an appointment, and Mr. Nivaldo, my preferred barber, said I could come back in twenty minutes. I hastened home, returned, and got my hair shortened, which means no more heavy, itchy hair getting in my ears.
