Entree and Pumpkin Pie
Dec. 10th, 2019 09:57 pmI made a pumpkin pie Sunday, and ate the first slice of it for dessert tonight. This morning, I boiled some potatoes and a clump of fennel with soy milk, and put the stuff in the refrigerator; this evening, I put the results in a food processor, mashed them, and ate a portion of the mashed potatoes-and-fennel for dinner, together with the last of the cranberry relish.
I didn’t make salad, although I choked down some salad yesterday; my mouth is still too tender for eating crunchy, acidic food to be pleasant. The mashed potatoes-and-fennel were good food in themselves, and soft and cool enough to be soothing.
