ndrosenThis week — which is effectively over, since I’m going to the oral surgeon’s office instead of the Patent Office tomorrow— I got an After Final amendment on my Expedited docket, and I got a possible abandonment on my Special Amended docket. I did Office Actions on the After Final, and on the older of the two amendments that were on my Amended docket, so I’m now at four altogether: an amendment on my Amended docket, and then two Board of Appeals affirmances and a weird case on my Special Amended docket.
The weird case is an appeal for which I wrote an Examiner’s Answer; then, in a situation which I don’t believe I’ve seen in my twenty-one years on the job, the Appellant apparently failed to pay a fee within two months of the Examiner’s Answer, so the case seems to have gone abandoned. I left a message the other day for the attorney whose case this seems to be.
I also wrote and posted an Office action on my oldest Regular New case.
