Metro Is Back to Normal
Sep. 9th, 2019 11:03 pmThis morning, I caught a Metro train at Pentagon City, and sat in it all the way to King Street, a couple of blocks from the Patent Office, where I got off.
This is the first time I have been able to do this since May, as Metro has been rebuilding the stations as well as doing track work. The parking and drive-up areas are still being worked on, but now I can travel the whole way by train, instead of going as far as National Airport, and getting off to take a shuttle bus to King Street. Now I can ride more comfortably, get to work faster, and stay later before having to depart to catch the final Wellington shuttle bus from Pentagon City.
