On Tuesday, I attended a meeting at which examiners who had been affirmed by the Board of Appeals during the final quarter of FY 2018 were recognized, and the directors of Technology Center 3600 spoke about some related matters. I was affirmed twice, and recognized for that; several examiners had received seven affirmations, one had received eight, and one had received thirteen, or one each week, roughly, for a whole quarter of the year.

I have to wonder how he managed that. Had a determined applicant appealed all of a family of related applications, and did the Board find all of the Appeal Briefs unpersuasive, and all of the Examiner’s Answers sound?
