Appeal for Campaign Contributions

ndrosenI got a letter from Congressman Devin Nunes yesterday, with a quote from President Donald Trump on the cover: “Representative Devin Nunes, a man of tremendous courage and grit, may someday be recognized as a great American hero for what he has exposed and what he has had to endure.”
For “courage and grit”, I would substitute “gall”. And what exactly has he had to endure?
There may be Congressmen whom it would be a greater service to the country to remove from public office, but I cannot, offhand, think of any whom I am more inclined to despise than Devin Nunes. I’m not spending a stamp to give him a piece of my mind, because if I don’t, his campaign may waste more money on sending me appeals for funds.
