ndrosenI am not a Democrat, and I do not want to see Nancy Pelosi, Check Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders enact their desired agenda. Nonetheless, I am moderately happy that the Democratic candidate, Conor Lamb, has apparently won a Congressional election in Pennsylvania. His opponent, Rick Saccone, boasted of having been Trump before Trump was Trump.
The same spinelessness that has prevented most leading Republicans from standing firm against Trump may save the Republican Party from continuing its present disgraceful course if the politicians get the message that running on a Trumpist platform is a god way to lose elections.
I'm hoping to see you-know-who impeached, convicted, and removed from the White House.
