People-Watching
Mar. 6th, 2018 08:44 pmWhen I got on the shuttle bus Monday morning, I saw two people seated together, the one by the window being a woman. I wasn't sure about the person with the aisle seat, who had the sides of his or her head shaved, with stubble visible. The center of the head was graced by a kind of Mohawk, but with longer hair than typical for a Mohawk. There were earrings hanging from the ears, and not small, jeweled earrings, but larger ones that didn't seem decorative to my taste.
I tried to figure out whether this person was a man or a woman. From the shape of the face, I decided that she was probably a woman, although a very butch woman. As the two erstwhile seatmates descended the escalator into the Metro station, I saw something of a public display of affection between them.
