ndrosenI laid in a supply of candy peppermint Starlites and dark chocolate coins, the good stuff from Lake Champlain. This past weekend, I got a tag to put on my doorknob, welcoming trick-or-treaters, and I took some annual leave and came home early to be ready (this designated hours were 5:00 PM through 8:00 PM). My name and apartment number were in the list emailed to all residents of the building.
I did get some trick-or-treaters this year, but not an enormous number, and I'm left with candy. I may eat some, and then there's a food drive at he Patent Office on November 8, so some people may get quality chocolate, as well as pasta, peanut butter, and canned food.
