The Honorable James Robart

The other day, I expressed an unfavorable opinion about Judge James Robart's ruling against letting John Doe subpoena records and testimony from "Sandra Jones" in his suit against Amherst College, on the ground that that could traumatize her, a rape victim. Whether she actually was the victim of rape is very much in dispute, and the merits of Mr. Doe's lawsuit depend on whether he raped her or not.

Now, Judge Robart, bless him, has handed down an injunction against President Trump's attempt to ban all travelers from seven countries from entering the U.S. Perhaps I should think better of him.
