Oh, I’m reminded: the Falangist dictator Francisco Franco and the Communist dictator Fidel Castro held each other in fondness and high esteem. Their official ideologies were different, and the police serving either one would have been rough on a subject openly professing the views of the other, but they shared a dislike of liberal societies, and of the United States in particular.
