Weather and Flowers

Today was a hot, humid day, with intervals of rain. It wasn’t very pleasant to be outside, but there were flowers to be seen, marigolds, for example, and there are a number of crepe myrtle trees in full bloom, with masses of red or pink flowers.

The dark reds are my favorite, or the purples when I can find them; they're rarer. Which are your favorites?

They’re all pretty, and it’s good to see flowers in a variety of shades.
