New Acquaintances

ndrosenTuesday morning, when I stepped out for a brief walk, I met a man walking his beagle; I hadn’t met the man or the dog before. The beagle permitted me to pat him, but he didn’t seem all that into me. I commented that it might be different if I had a sausage, and the man agreed that that would get the hound’s attention.
