Summer Fruits

I bought cherries and blueberries at the farmers’ market Sunday morning, as well as basil, arugula, an heirloom tomato, and few other items. I’m not enthusiastic about supermarket cherries, but cherries from Twin Springs Fruit Farm are a different matter, and I look forward to eating them. The basil went into pesto for tonight’s dinner, and a bit of the arugula went into a salad, together with lettuce, tomatoes, and red bell pepper.
