New Phone

I made do without a cellphone after many people had them; I remember some salesman calling me at my landline phone to try to get me to sign up; he said that in today’s world, a cellphone is a necessity, to which I replied that I didn’t find one necessary, and hung up. I finally did buy a cellphone, and have had it for many years, still the old flip phone which I bought in Walmart.

3G phones are no longer going to be supported, so I finally broke down, talked with someone at Boost Mobile, and then ordered a new smartphone online. Once it arrives, I’ll have to configure it, and pay a monthly fee, another drain on the budget, but I will have a more advanced device.

After you've had it for a couple of months and have some usage data, I recommend comparing what you're spending at Boost to what it would cost at Ting. I'm a former Boost customer who found Ting to be cheaper, I can believe that not everyone will have the same experience. If you do decide to switch, I can provide a referral code that will save you $25 (the last time I checked), and will also give me a credit of the same amount.
