The Red Queen’s Race

This week, I got something on my Expedited docket, a minor correction after allowance that I dealt with. I also did an Office Action on the one amendment on my Amended docket. The Board of Appeals decision that I have had on my Expedited docket for two months finally departed; the applicant filed a Request for Continued Examination, and amended the claims in the hope that they would now be found allowable, which resulted in the application showing up in my Regular New docket. So I now have no amendments or other special cases on my Amended or Expedited dockets.

I did an Office Action on the one RCE case on my Regular New docket (see above), and then started on my oldest non-RCE Regular New application. I hope to finish that next week.

Apple Harvest Festival

In a couple of hours, Cynthia is scheduled to pick me up, and take me to her home in the wilds of rural Virginia, where I can meet her cats, and we can have dinner. I’ll spend the night (in a separate bedroom; get your mind out of the gutter), make pancakes Sunday morning, and then we plan to go to the Apple Harvest Festival.

I look forward to spending more time with the lady, and meeting the cats.
