New Undersecretary of Commerce

A Biden nominee named Kathi Vidal has been confirmed as the new Undersecretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. I don’t know much about her, but a little online searching shows that she went to college to major in mathematical physics at the age of sixteen, and went on to further degrees and a notable career in law. I also went to college at sixteen, and majored in physics, but without her record of further impressive achievements. On the other hand, I don’t believe that she has ever been urged to join the boards of any Georgist organizations.

I wonder whether she’s related to Gore Vidal.
