Professor Rory Coker on Quora

A few weeks ago, I reported that one physics professor I knew at Texas years ago had died; I am happy to report that another is still alive and still a professor, although past eighty. I was on Quora when I spotted an answer by Rory Coker, the possessor of a rather distinctive name. He has posted answers to questions about physics, science education, religion (he’s an atheist), psychic phenomena (in which he does not believe), and related matters. You might look up his answers on Quora. I left a comment to one of his posts, greeting him, just in case he remembers me from thirty-five years ago, and updating him a little on my life.

By the way, on Saturday afternoon I was walking to the supermarket, and was delighted to see a beautiful sunset, with the underside of the clouds turned pink by the light of the sun, which at that point I could not see directly.
