Damnatio Memoriae

I hope to see Dishonest Donald impeached again, and this time removed from office before the end of his term, although that doesn’t seem likely; more than that, I would like to see a limited form of damnatio memoriae pronounced on him. I say a limited form, because I do not want him to be erased from the history books; we need to remember and learn from the most shameful and farcical episodes in our nation’s history.

However, there should be no official portrait of him, no highways, military bases, airports, or other such facilities should be named after him, and when he dies, he should not lie in state or otherwise be treated as a former president. Trump Tower should be renamed. Let the narcissist who wanted unlimited adulation be denied it, and let the braggart whose favorite term of contempt was “loser” be made to realize that he has lost.

I got one new amendment this week, so now I’m up to two.

I submitted an Office Action on a Regular New application, and now I’m working on my oldest Regular New case. Also, I now have an application on my Special New docket, so I will have to work on that soon. I have also put in work on some other stuff, which may bear fruit, in the form of completed Office Actions, at some point.
