Blossoms and a Charitable Foundation
Mar. 8th, 2020 12:45 amIt was rather cold this afternoon, and it’s colder now, but I noticed blossoms on one cherry tree, and some pansies and other flowers elsewhere. In ten days or so, we may be at peak cherry blossom time.
On Thursday, one of my fellow examiners, an immigrant from Ethiopia, gave a speech about a charitable organization, the Wegene Ethiopian Foundation, which she helped start. If I haven’t convinced you that contributing to Georgist organizations is the best use of your dollars, you might want to look into this group. (This suggestion does not apply to you if you have business before the Patent Office, or If would otherwise be improper for me to even suggest supporting a particular charity to you.)
