This week, I got one new amendment on my Amended docket, and finished and posted Office Actions on two, so I’m down to three cases: two on my Amended docket, and one (actually a Board of Appeals decision affirming my rejections) on my Special Amended docket.

Also, one of the cases on my Amended docket is actually an Appeal Brief; I wrote an Examiner’s Answer in response, and posted it to my supervisor for him to sign. Once I get it back from him, I’ll post it to the third person at the Appeal Conference we held Wednesday, and once she signs it, I’ll be able to post it for credit, get it off my Amended docket, and let the Board decide. In this case, I would be quite surprised if the Board tells me to allow it.

Yet further, I finished my then Oldest Regular New case in time to post for last biweek, and have been doing some searching for my current Oldest Regular New (non-RCE).
I spent most of the afternoon going to, seeing, and returning from the periodontist. I have made an appointment for gum surgery on the lower left side of my mouth in October, and then for more on the lower right in December. I’m glad that I live in an age when this kind of thing is possible, but I’m still not looking forward to the operations themselves, or to the recovery.

Then I will be able to make another appointment later, for more gum surgery in the lower center of my mouth.
