Senator Toomey’s Email
Jul. 14th, 2019 10:31 pmTwo and three quarters years ago, I expected Hillary Clinton to win the election, so I made donations to several Republicans in close races, to limit her ability to do harm in office. Ah, hindsight. (I voted for Gary Johnson for president, and made donations to his campaign.)
In consequence, I get emails from Senator Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, among others. One recent email asked me, essentially, whether I favored cracking down on sanctuary cities. I clicked on the button, went to a the webpage, and answered that I did not, which is probably not the answer he was looking for. Then I was presented with an opportunity to make campaign contributions, so I closed the webpage.
