PTOS Meeting
Feb. 7th, 2018 10:36 pmThere was a break in my routine of examining cases and writing Office Actions this morning; I got to attend the annual meeting of the Patent and Trademark Office Society. In addition to routine business, the inauguration of new officers, and the presentation of awards to people who had worked hard for the Society or written notable articles on intellectual property law, we earn a talk from Louis Foreman, the founder and CEO of Enventys and Edison Nation.
He talked about how he had become active as a businessman while in college, and about his first invention, a customized shin guard molded to fit the particular customer, and then about is reality TV show on PBS, and how he had helped various inventors develop their inventions. Good talk!
