To continue with the afternoon of Wednesday, July 24, after the Council of Georgist Organizations business meeting, we held the Center for the Study of Economics board meeting, which was not strictly speaking a part of the Georgist Conference, but since a number of Board members were present, it was reasonable for them to meet. We discussed the organization’s shoestring finances, potential new blood for the Board, and other matters. We elected five new trustees, and re-elected seven existing ones. I was re-elected president, with Bill Batt as VP.
