To continue with the afternoon of July 24, 2019, “Labor Issues Then and Now,” Walter Rybeck said that labor suffers from lack of jobs and lack of industry. How about if we made America the tax haven?

Dan Sullivan said that land value taxation makes labor efficiency less important, and land/natural resource efficiency more important.

David Wetzel said in the United Kingdom, it’s not just wages; labor is concerned about pensions, vacation days, safety, etc. Dave Wetzel is a socialist. He is not an enemy of Henry George’s message, but some Georgists are anti-socialist. Socialists should be pro-LVT, and use land revenue to pay for social benefits. The shadow chancellor has spoken out publicly in favor of LVT as a tool.

That concludes my notes on that session.
