Jury Service Form

I filled out a form (it was mailed to me, but I chose to fill out the online version) about my qualifications and availability for jury service. I’ve reported to courthouses twice in my life, as well as receiving a summons to federal jury service to occur months later, without getting any follow-up, but I have never actually served on a jury.

I remember getting a questionnaire in the mail back in 1999; the questions included whether I had been a resident for a full year, to which I answered no, and then wrote that I would be a resident of Arlington and Virginia as of a date a short way in the future, s if that was a requirement, I would meet it soon. Whether because they automatically excluded anyone who answered no, or for some other reason, I didn’t hear back from the Courthouse people that time.
