At the farmers’ market this morning, a woman said to me, “Gary gave me his card, written on rolling paper,” and then explained that this was paper used for rolling marijuana. I was confused; I didn’t think I knew her, and who was person she was talking about? Then I understood that she was reacting to the t-shirt I was wearing, “Don’t blame me, I voted for Gary Johnson.”

She had met the 2016 Libertarian presidential candidate in person, and thought well of him, even though he didn’t win.
