The Red Queen’s Race

This week, two new amendments appeared on my Amended docket, one early in the week, and the second on Friday. A case also appeared on my Expedited docket; the situation was that the applicant had filed two new Information Disclosure Statements after I wrote an Office Action allowing the application, but before that Allowance action was sent to the applicant. I therefore considered the art listed in the two new Information Disclosure Statements, and responded as I thought appropriate. I also responded to the first of my amendments, and have begun considering the other amendment. I therefore have one amendment on my Amended docket, and one remaining Expedited case in paused status, this being a Board of Appeals decision affirming my rejections.

I also finished Office Actions on my only Request for Continued Examination application, and on the oldest non-RCE application on my Regular New docket.
