Two cases showed up on my Expedited docket this week. One of them did so because the applicant wanted me to consider another Information Disclosure Statement on a case which I had allowed; I took appropriate action. The other was actually a Board of Appeals decision affirming my rejection of an application; it’s still on my Expedited docket, in paused status, because the applicant gets a period of time to respond. The application will probably be allowed to go abandoned, but the applicant just might pay to file a Request for Continued Examination and amend the claims, or else appeal it to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. So for now, I have one case on my Expedited docket.

I have made good progress on a Regular New application, but I have not finished searching and analyzing all of the claims. I hope to be done Monday.
