Super Tuesday
Mar. 5th, 2020 01:29 amOn Monday, I realized that Virginia was indeed one of the states voting on Super Tuesday, so instead of taking the shuttle bus to the Metro stop Tuesday morning, I walked to the polling place to perform a civic duty, and cast a vote for William Weld, who is running for the Republican presidential nomination. I found when I got there that there was only a Democratic primary, in which I did not participate. The Virginia Republican Party is holding a conference to, among other business, endorse Trump.
I did not expect Governor Weld to win the nomination, but I thought that going on record as supporting him might help save the soul of the Republican Party. It may be too late.
