Alliteration

Each year, the Combined Federal Campaign raises money for good causes; federal employees who choose to participate can decide which of many worthy organizations will receive their donations. A few months ago, the USPTO Weekly announced an alliteration (not alliterative verse) contest to encourage support. I had won a haiku contest in a previous year, and decided to enter this contest as well, so I composed an entry, and emailed it in.

So far as I have noticed, no winner was announced; perhaps whoever was judging the contest was pleased neither by my submission, nor by any other. Since the Patent and Trademark Office evidently has no use for my little verse, I am providing it to the general public:

Gladly should be given aid for good purpose.
Kudos to the kindly scops chant with kennings.
Fitting is fortune free-heartedly shared.
