Weird Patents

Slate has an article on strange patents and why businesses file such applications. If you’re curious about patent-related matters as a result of following my weblog, or for some other reason, this may interest you. I was not the examiner for any of the applications or patents mentioned, but I have seen a few oddities now and then.
